Project Description
Mnemosyne Edgecliff is a one-of-a-kind sculptural shape comprised of four quadrants that curl and twist around a central core. The project has been named 'Mnemosyne' after the Titan goddess of memory and remembering, and the building concept and design were inspired by flying fish. Mnemosyne Edgecliff will be known as the 'Gateway to the East of Sydney' in the not-too-distant future.
Mnemosyne social hub spans across an entire floor of this magnificent building, It is a retreat for residents to enjoy, utilise and spend time in. There is truly something for everyone at Mnemosyne social hub, unwind in the indoor heated pool while taking in the breathtaking city views, watch a movie with the family in the theatre, or enjoy a drink with friends in the Mnemosyne bar, this level offers the height of luxury.
Only the finest materials such as natural stone, timber, handmade ceramics and woven upholstery were utilised to create beautiful, neutral, and captivating spaces that speak to the luxurious architecture of the building. The social hub's functionality and spatial planning were heavily considered by the creation of numerous floor plan iterations to ensure the layout and spatial composition of this level could effortlessly guide residents through each zone, taking them on a guided journey of the amazing experiences & spaces on offer.
